Trujillo Repor t – March 2017
As I set out to travel to Trujillo by bus, I found the main road (Pan American Highway) was closed to all traffic. “What’s going on?” I called the Pastor who invited me to come teach the pastors and believers the walk of the spirit. “We are all Rhema students and have had a lot of teaching about the power of God but as of now, very few of us are actually walking in the demonstration of power the Bible talks about.” Pastor Carlos said, I know there is more to know about this. Can you come and teach us?
As we spoke on the phone, he mentioned that yesterday’s rain was very heavy and that was unusual but he did not know why the roads were closed. In the following days we would all find out. Flash floods and mudslides had inundated the entire Northern coast of Peru. The rivers raged in a fury that Peru had not known before and the rains that came were unexpected and became much more than this desert terrain could handle.
Rolling my suitcase behind me, I ran through the long bus terminal building to the mall next door. Then I ran down the mall corridors to the Lan Peru kiosk. “Have you any available tickets to Trujillo?” “Yes” they said, but the cost was double the regular price.) I put it on my credit card and called Pastor C, “I will be coming by airplane. Can you pick me up?” “Yes, Of course. We will meet you at the airport tomorrow”
This year 2017 began different from other years past. I had to cancel my trip to Iquitos to take care of Eliana and the church in Lima. God had me in prayer and fasting for all of January and February. He was downloading much revelation knowledge and visions to impart in the months ahead. “Pray for the nations.”
Even today I am reading of microchip implants being offered free of charge to employees of a company in Switzerland. The mark of the beast. They were convinced it was a good thing and the advanced technology of the future replacing smart phones and smart cards with an implant in the human body. These floods and natural disasters were also more of the signs of the end times that Jesus talked about in the gospels.
As I waited in the airport for my ride to come pick me up, I was reminded of my trip to Ilo, a city on the Southern coast of Peru year before last. This was not the first time I had arrived in a city where the people were in a panic. The taxi had dropped me off at the curb with my suitcase and as I waited I began to see people running and heard sirens going off. Policemen n motorcycles were cruising the streets, I hear the people shouting “tsunami, tsunami – get to higher ground!”
But I had perfect peace inside my spirit so I did not follow the crowd. As the streets became vacant and my ride did not arrive as yet, I began to ring them on the telephone. It seems the police blockade had prevented them from getting to me. A very kind lady opened the door to her house behind me and invited me inside. “I have to leave but you are welcome to leave your suitcase inside and you can pick it up later.” “OK” I said, and I began to walk to a nearby building to wait for my ride.
There was no tsunami that night. It was a false alarm. But there was a spiritual tsunami the Lord had shown me in a vision. Much of the church was swept away by false doctrines and schemes of the devil
Now I was in Trujillo remembering the panic as those people faced the possibility of a natural disaster. Soon I would see it in person.

Haico! Haico! Haico! And they were all calling their friends and family on their cell phones. The river had overflowed its banks and the water, debris and mud was rushing in a torrent toward the center of the city.
Few people came to our first meeting because of the floods. For the next few days, most could not get to the meetings. Then they started to come to hear and pray. New believers and whole families later came because of the floods. The news reported daily the damage and house being swept away and the people being rescued from the raging torrents. Bridges collapsed and it became a national emergency as we watched the reports on TV.
This message will get people set free from the bondage of a sinful life and religion. It is the walk of power; healing and deliverance all are looking for. But it is a walk of faith to believe God and look up. God requires us to obey him and trust in Him for the changes we need. He will help us as we walk it out in faith with the living God.
I was in Trujillo for two weeks teaching revelation knowledge and ministering in the spirit. I preached every day and sometimes more than once a day. The hunger and thirst of the people was refreshing as I taught about the power given to the early church that is now available to all of us. Many received their prayer language and are now praying in the spirit after receiving the baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit. Jesus was faithful to heal and deliver and to open the eyes of our understanding to the power and authority available to us as children of God. Now we are even more sensitive to the needs of our neighbors and many have come to help us. God is in the midst of these last days as we seek God for more. Pray in tongues.
